The first step to regaining your health is to become aware of how you are feeling. We are used to masking the signals our bodies send us with over the counter and prescription medicines. Rebecca guides you through how to listen to your body and what the symptoms you are feeling may mean.
‘What we eat is what we become.’ Nutrition is vital to living a healthy, happy life. As you move into this section, Rebecca works with you to review what you eat, how you eat it and when you eat. She shows you how to conduct a pantry and fridge audit, so you know what’s really in there.
We were designed to move, yet many of us find ourselves spending several hours a day being sedentary. Our digestive system responds positively to exercise and movement, so Rebecca works with you to firstly assess what movement you are currently doing each day, and how you can be moving optimally for health.
What we think has an enormous impact on what we become. When you have been unwell for some time, it can be very easy to fall into a negative mindset. Thoughts such as ‘I’m never going to feel well again‘ or ‘I’ll take that holiday when I feel well again‘ are restrictive and help to keep us sick. Rebecca only saw true change to her health once she regained power over her thoughts, so she guides you through how to identify negative thought patterns, and gives you the tools to change them so you focus on the positives, not the negatives.
The fifth step in the session looks at how you can incorporate the five key pillars into your life. Learning how to manage well-meaning friends and family, and social engagements can mean the difference between sticking to your health and wellness goals, and letting them slip. Rebecca spends time with you setting goals for the future that are realistic and achievable.

A 1 on 1 coaching session is perfect for anyone who wants a personal session with Rebecca Coomes to talk about your specific health requirements. You may be at the beginning of your health journey, or may already have a SIBO diagnosis and be looking for some extra support. You may be currently undergoing treatment from a practitioner, but feel you need additional lifestyle and emotional support outside of the consulting rooms.
How does the coaching session work?
When you sign up to receive a 1 on 1 coaching call from Rebecca Coomes, you will be at the first step of joining a community of like minded people, who are there to support your journey to health and wellness. You receive:
Upon purchasing a coaching call(s), you will be directed to book a time(s) with Rebecca Coomes that is suitable for you. Her calendar automatically calculates time zone differences, so you don’t have to try to figure that out.
A confirmation email with information on how to connect with Rebecca via Zoom. It is important for Rebecca to be able to see you during your call, which is why she prefers to use Zoom for these consults.
You will receive a pre-coaching email from Rebecca which contains information about the session and some questions for you to think about prior to the call.
The coaching calls consist of 1-hour private sessions with Rebecca Coomes where she will discuss your current health concerns and goals.
