Ginger, lemon and turmeric tea is not only delicious but is full of anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial and detoxification properties.
- 4 slices of lemon
- 1 tbs ginger, grated
- 1 tbs fresh turmeric, grated
- 4 cups boiling water
- Optional extra: 1-2 tsp raw organic honey (only use if honey is tolerated)
- Place all ingredients in a large coffee plunger. Let the tea steep for 5 minutes before pressing the plunger down before serving.
- This can be drunk hot or cold.
