A SIBO diet is designed to help improve or calm your SIBO symptoms by reducing the amount of fermentable carbohydrates in your diet. It also gives you a good opportunity to reconnect with your body by watching and listening to your symptoms. This SIBO diet is designed by leading SIBO specialist Dr Nirala Jacobi. Dr. Jacobi divided the SIBO Specific Food Guide and divided it into two phases:
Phase 1 - most restrictive and used to help calm digestive symptoms
Phase 2 - Introduces more fermentable carbohydrates and allows for greater quantities of certain foods
