Katie Caldwell is a writer, social worker, and activist in Honolulu, Hawai’i. She teaches Gender Studies and Social Work at the University of Hawai’i at Manoa. She has suffered from SIBO, H Pylori, Hashimoto’s disease, and Ovarian cancer. She has a popular blog where she discusses health, travel, fitness, love, and relationships, with a high level of snark and sarcasm. She admins the largest SIBO support group in the world (via facebook) and has a strong professional background in domestic violence, sexual violence, and gender/race/queer studies.
